SUPR: What does your morning routine look like?

SF: This changes from day to day, I’m very big on listening to what my body needs and working from that space. Overall it encompasses movement, either a walk around the headland or a 20 minute HIIT session to get the blood pumping, ending with a non negotiable meditation to get me started for the day! You’ll rarely find me in a gym, my body loves the outdoors and low intensity training such a Pilates or yoga, I crave that strength! I go to sleep dreaming about breakfast, so I kick start with a smoothie nearly everyday, filled with lots of greens, medicinal mushroom powder (this is my key to immunity), plant based protein powder, and lots of peanut butter… of course!

SUPR: What does ‘health’ mean to you?

SF: My perception of health has dramatically changed over the years and still is changing, which I’m excited for! Health goes beyond just your food and movement. I believe health starts within the mind! It’s all about the intention of entering your circumstances without pressure or expectation but simply showing up to what makes you feel good. If you’re not liking how you move your body, take the pressure away from the number and just stick to a simple walk. If you’re not happy with how you’re nourishing, make one to two healthy swaps not 100. We place so much pressure to be perfect with our health and that’s when it stops becoming enjoyable! Health looks at how you feel within, your actions that you do for yourself.. feel into the ones that truly feel good and take the pressure off!

SUPR: What are five things you’ll always have in your fridge / pantry?

SF: Coconut yoghurt, frozen blueberries, peanut butter, muesli, hummus / corn chips (this is one in my eye's). I have so many staples! I’m a chef so it’s hard to expand on specifics. But I could not live without my Pic's Peanut Butter!

SUPR: What’s your favourite form of movement?

SF: Without a doubt walking. It has such a bigger meaning than simply just exercising. Walking creates new perspectives and allows space to wind down within your mind. It’s a little gift back to your body after you’ve worked all day and you can do it anywhere too! It’s my form of meditation.

SUPR: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

SF: I’ve travelled all over the world and previously lived in Byron Bay (which I would 100% love to live later on in life), but I've always wanted to live in Hawaii. The culture, nature and connection to health on the North Shore is right up my alley, so you never know!

SUPR: What quote do you live by?

SF: “Time enjoyed wasting is not wasted time” I’m not actually sure who this is by, I remember hearing it at an event one time and it has stuck with me since. We

can easily get caught up in the 'Achieving Mindset', forgetting the other areas of our lives. It’s a little reminder and non negotiable for me to remind myself that there is more to life than work, results and the “doer” mindset. Every second counts, do it for you!

SUPR: Share a fun fact that people wouldn’t know about you?

SF: I hate bananas… I rarely use the word hate. but in this case it fits! I’m trained as a plant based chef, and when ever I tell people this I get so many questions around WHY! Honestly they make me feel so ill…I tried to eat a banana recently and let’s just say it cemented a life-long distance friendship! No thank you!
