The recent wave of COVID forced large parts of Australia back into their homes; making sourdough bread, binging countless TV series & exploring every possible walking track in our 5km radius. In the PR space, the lockdowns had an impact on one of our favourite aspects of what we do... events. Doing what we do best, we quickly pivoted, using the tool we all love to hate (Zoom), to host virtual interactive events. Here's a run down of a few
lockdown virtual events we hosted!
Pre-lockdown, we planned a Lunch & Learn at our client's restaurant, Bodhi to present our New PR Playbook to businesses in the Health, Wellness and Better-For-You space. As sad as we were not to be treated to vegan yum cha, the Covid climate called for us to take the event online. We partnered up with our friends at Organic Wine, with all guests receiving a bottle of organic vino to enjoy throughout our presentation.
As part of our introduction, Stewart Dawes from Organic Wine talked about their range of organic wines & what makes them unique. This was a real hit with our guests as we dived into the presentation to discuss four of our key PR 'plays' - Integration of Traditional & New Media, Creative Mailers, Brand Collaborations & Influencer Engagement.
More recently, we hosted an event to celebrate the launch of our client, Ora Health. With a carefully selected guest list of leading Media & Influencers in the industry, the launch was a huge success with the founder, Gabe sharing a bit about the business journey, an epic Pilates class led by the lovely Bianca Melas (safe to say it was a glute-burn!) & on-brand outfits for all guests from the one & only Aim'n. 100% of attendees shared & tagged Ora via their social channels, a huge PR win.
Everyone received product from Ora's range such as Hormonal Balance, MagMood & Profound Sleep, so they can continue experiencing the benefits beyond the event.
