June Superfoods Powers Kids with a Hydrating Boost of Nutrition

Are your kids among 1 in 2 children that regularly consume sweetened drinks? If so, then June Superfoods may be the perfect product for your little ones!

Certified organic superfood drink mixes, June Superfoods, has officially launched into market, providing kids with a hydrating boost of nutrition to supplement their daily intake of fruit and vegetables. Containing the highest quality wholefood ingredients, the blends are rich in antioxidants and essential nutrients from freeze-dried superfoods, designed conveniently for the on-the-go health conscious parent.

Mum and qualified nutritionist, Kristin Derrin created June Superfoods in mid-2017 after noticing a gap in the Australian market for healthy and convenient kid-friendly alternatives to sugary drinks. Recent research by the NSW Ministry of Health has revealed that nearly 1 in 2 children (45.4%) regularly consumed sweetened drinks*, including fruit drinks, cordial and soft drinks. As a result Kristin decided to create a healthy and honest option containing plant-based superfoods and no nasty ingredients that she could confidently recommend for her own children.

“After moving back to Australia from the USA in 2015, I was surprised to see so many products for kids with added sugars, fillers and artificial ingredients that claimed to be healthy. I decided to take matters into my own hands, and created a product that was certified organic, nutrient-dense and supported a healthy, balanced diet for families”, said founder Kristin Derrin.

Recommended for children aged two and above, each blend incorporates superfoods with more absorbable nutrients per serving than other foods, designed to aid kids growth, development and immunity. The 100% Australian made products are also dairy free, gluten free and soy free, containing plant-based sweeteners stevia and monk fruit to increase the flavour of the blends to ensure that they are kid-friendly.

“We strive to keep our superfood drink mixes as close to nature as possible, while giving families a convenient, nutritious and tasty alternative to sugary drinks. Using my personal experiences as a mum and my expertise as a nutritionist, I want to support, educate and empower parents to make healthy choices for their kids and themselves”, added Kristin.

The superfood blends are individually packaged for accurate servings and added convenience – simply add water or combine in a smoothie to enjoy. The mixes can also be easily integrated into raw food recipes.

June Superfoods range includes the Berry Focused blend to improve focus, memory and cognitive development, the Green Greatness blend to aid performance, growth and memory, and the Tropical Sport blend to boost hydration and immunity. Each product contains 28 sachets and is available to purchase online at www.junesuperfoods.com and at select retailers for RRP$49.99
