Here at Straight Up PR, we truly believe in the power of manifestation. (Sidenote, if you haven’t already read the book, Into The Magic Shop by Dr James R Doty, highly recommend – it’s a team fave!).
As we reflect on the year that was & in turn, what we’re envisioning for the year ahead, we thought we’d put the spotlight on some of our beautiful clients & what they hope to bring to their businesses in 2023. Here, they share what their ‘word’ of the year is & their overarching goals & objectives – both personally & professionally.
“Being true to myself, to accept completely things as they are (the good & the bad) & connect deeply with people & things that matter to me” – Natalie Manoushian, Founder, Little Label Co
“The very first word that jumped into my mind for everything I hope to accomplish this year with my clients, future clients, fellow psychologists, my industry in general, & most importantly the youth of Australia struggling with mental health is "Inspire". – Dr Alissa Knight, Clinical Psychologist & Director, The Calming Suite Psychology
“We had an exceptional year of growth last year, adding new products & new collaborations – & this year, we really want to expand & deepen & broaden our reach as a brand, showcasing what we have created to provide more relief to our community & educate everyone on the power of gut health, detoxification & enemas!” – Kyah Seary, Founder, Happy Bum Co
“I am trying to find joy everyday!” – Michele Wilson, CEO & Founder, AWWA
“It's a big year for Chia Sisters. After a tricky few years navigating our way through the pandemic, we now feel we're on the other side & it's really an incredible period of growth for us. With our launch to Australia & the USA last year, we're now focussed on building a sense of community in those markets & replicating what we've created here in New Zealand.
To us, success is hearing anecdotes of how our drinks actually make a difference. Or collaborating with a business on sustainable solutions. Or delivering epic experiences where we can connect with our audiences authentically, honestly & on a deeper level. Community is our way to achieve this.” – Abbie Tebutt, Marketing & Business Development Manager, Chia Sisters
“Off the back of a huge 2022 with the launch of our worldwide partnership with CoComelon & record sales year in Australia (& globally!), we’re looking to sustain momentum & strengthen the Rascal + Friends brand platform as an affordable, super absorbent & premium nappy brand.
In 2023, our focus is on reaching parents at upper-funnel touchpoints to generate mass awareness & brand affinity. This will be achieved through our best-in-class social & digital strategy (find us on TikTok as the #1 most liked & followed nappy brand), our hyper-engaged team of influencers & brand advocates, exclusive retail partnership with Coles, & large-scale sampling to drive trial & get our premium baby product into the hands of more parents (& let our Rascals speak for themselves!)
With this continued momentum we’re working towards our ultimate goal of becoming a category leader & trusted, household brand in Australia.” – Tahlia Rawle, Marketing Executive, Rascal + Friends
“A key goal for Air Locker Training is to continue innovating in our products, services & technology. We’ve got lots of exciting initiatives being launched this year, including international studios & wearable tech. At the core of these activities is being able to deliver altitude training to the masses.” – Alice Hall, Head of Marketing, Air Locker Training
We love how our inspiring clients all have different words as their focus for this year. Here's to a successful and prosperous 2023! If you had to choose one word for yourself or your own business - what would it be!?
