This week on our Talking Straight Series we chatted with the wonderful Casey Burgess. Casey discussed with us what her healthy morning routine looks like, & why authenticity & transparency is so important.

Here's Casey.

SUPR: What does your morning routine look like?

CB: I’ll wake up around 6:30 go to  a Hustle boxing class or teach at Balmain Bodies Pilates, and then cook myself up an omelette and protein smoothie.

SUPR: What’s one healthy habit you prioritised / embraced during lockdown that you’ll continue as we start to return to normality?

CB: Definitely daily training and I started meditation  .. something I am get to master haha

SUPR: What are five things you’ll always have in your fridge / pantry?

CB: Cheese, avocado , Lurpak butter, soy and linseed sourdough, and herbal tea

SUPR: What’s your favourite form of movement?

CB: ANY.  I love boxing, pilates and walking . Dancing would have to be up there too .

SUPR: What’s the first destination you’d like to visit once we’re allowed to travel again?

CB: Been craving Italy badly !!!

SUPR: What is one fun fact most people wouldn’t know about you?

CB: I MUST put my left shoe on first or I feel weird all day haha

SUPR: Why is it important to you to be Straight Up and authentic? Have you ever struggled in the past with being your true self?

CB: It’s so important, for all aspects of lie to be authentic. Life it too short not to be your whole self . It’s also so transparent if you’re not. I actually have a song on my upcoming album I wrote called “unapologetically me”. - which is all about that. It’s kind of my fight song for myself and hopefully others

SUPR: The health industry is constantly adapting to external circumstances. What’s one health trend you predict will remain or appear in 2020?

CB: No Idea, but when you find out tell me !  I love a good health trend !   — I am loving collagen atm though!  I hope that stays, it works for me .
