Last week, we had the pleasure of a mid-week getaway (talk about #WFH goals) at the stunning Greenhouse Retreat in Green Point on the Central Coast of NSW. Founded by our client, Carla King Turner, we knew the experience would be seamless, yet we can wholeheartedly say that this staycation exceeded expectations from start to finish.
Arriving at the waterfront property, just over an hour from Sydney’s CBD, we were blown away by the stylish interiors, the warm energy, the gorgeous pool, & of course, the breathtaking view. It is the perfect balance of homely & luxe – a difficult balance to strike.
Founder of the retreat, Carla, is also behind the clean beauty e-store, Mooi + U: home to the best-in-the-biz natural skincare & luxury self-care products. At the retreat, you’ll find these products beautifully dispersed throughout the property, from a natural hand sanitiser on arrival to soaps, hair & body products in each of the bathrooms.
Inspired by this stunning setting, we couldn’t help but get stuck into some content creation for our lovely clients. We did a fashion shoot for Miss Lilly, as well as capturing some stunning shots for Lo Bros, Pico Chocolate & Nutty Bruce, & of course, the beautiful Mooi + U products; the likes of Mother SPF, Vanessa Megan Perfume & Revelry. We never miss an opportunity to capture these Instagrammable moments for our clients.
The afternoon was complete with a poolside work session, laptop in one hand, champagne in the other, before indulging in an early evening grazing board. The sunset was breathtaking which called for yet another photoshoot! It’s too picturesque not to capture every moment.
Determined to make the most of our stay, we woke up early & rolled out our LUVe Yoga Mats to enjoy an outdoor yoga session. We set up on the deck, overlooking Brisbane Waters & were instructed by a local yogi teacher. An absolutely idyllic start to the day.
It was a getaway filled with good friends, good food, lots of laughs & an unbeatable location. An absolute must for any Sydneysiders looking for a local escape!
