Launching today, Ultimate Soccer powered by Rebel and endorsed by Brett Emerton brings to Australia an enjoyable, safe and accessible form of exercise for everyone – the 5-a-side soccer experience from the UK, with its network of purpose-built state-of-the-art soccer facilities open to the public at its flagship location in Fairfield, Western Sydney.
Soccer is a world sport and an international language that transcends barriers. It calls itself the world game, and in Fairfield the demographic profile of the district points to a diverse spread of cultural and ethnic backgrounds with people from all over the world, and the one thing that unites them is soccer. Ultimate Soccer is easily available to all irrespective of age, gender, race and socio-economic background, and provides a safe environment that promotes health and fitness, skill development, discipline and respect.
Ultimate Soccer, CEO, Emir Mani has been passionately working on bringing the ultimate soccer experience to Australia over the last four years and was thrilled when the opportunity for an innovative public-partnership with the Department of Education and Communities and Fairfield High School came to fruition.
“Ultimate Soccer is providing customers of all ages a state-of-the-art experience with the facilities available to Fairfield High School pupils during school hours for free and then to the wider community all other times,” said Mr Mani.
Mr Mani continued, “Purpose-built 5-a-side soccer facilities are very popular in the UK with over 200 facilities that exist. We have studied the best (and worst) facilities from all over the world and applied the finest features to our first flagship facility. We are 100% committed to our mission, which is to deliver the best soccer experience in Australia. That is through a premium product accessible to men, women and children, and delivered with exceptional customer service. We want to wow customers by making them feel like a million dollars from the moment they walk through our doors.”
State Member for Fairfield, Guy Zangari says: “Ultimate Soccer is a welcomed addition to the Fairfield Community. As the nursery of football in the nation, Ultimate Soccer will give young boys and girls the opportunity to access first class training facilities. Ultimate Soccer is an exceptional concept which fosters relationships between the public and private sector. This is an exciting time for the community. The success of our Socceroos at the recent Asian Cup and the outstanding performance of the Matildas at the Women’s World Cup will inspire our football community to achieve their dreams.”
Ultimate Soccer’s eight state-of-the-art 5-a-side pitches are built with the latest all-weather synthetic turf technology that means they can be played on all year round, rain or shine. Plus, the small, high quality caged nature of the fencing system promotes more touches, dribbles and goals which all add to making the game a more enjoyable experience. The floodlighting, shorter game times and small team numbers make it more accessible and convenient for busy people that do not have the time to exercise due to work and family commitments.
FFA Grassroots Ambassador and ex-Socceroos player, Brett Emerton says, “I have visited the Ultimate Soccer facility in Fairfield and I’m very excited and impressed by the purpose-built 5-a- side soccer facility. The concept in the UK is massive and I expect the same to happen here in Australia.
The Western Sydney soccer community is very lucky to have Ultimate Soccer invest $4million in this state-of-the-art development. It will certainly make the world game more accessible to men, women and children of all ages. I expect it to be a great success and a real positive for Australian grassroots soccer.”
Ultimate Soccer has partnered with a team of smart investors to initially raise over $4million for the development and construction of the first flagship facility. All investors are committed to fuelling the growth of soccer participation beyond the 2 million where it currently stands, and delivering an ultimate soccer experience in Australia.
Ultimate Soccer plans to launch 10 further sites in Australia over the next 10 years; the first facility in Fairfield when fully developed will be home to the largest 5-a-side soccer facility in the Southern Hemisphere with 15 advanced pitches expected to be completed by the end of 2016.
Minister for Sport, Stuart Ayres, says that quality grassroots facilities are crucial to increase regular and ongoing participation opportunities, he says, “This facility is an excellent example of collaboration between sport and the NSW Government.”
Ultimate Soccer is open 7 days a week from 9am to 10pm (Saturday 10pm and Sunday 9pm). Pitch bookings are available for League Competitions, Tournament Competitions, Casual Pitch Bookings, Coaching Courses, Kids Parties and Corporate Events.
