Celebrating 10 years of Vegepod

Updated: Jul 13, 2021

Last week, we celebrated two exciting Vegepod milestones: their 10th anniversary & a new product announcement (the Vege-Boost!). True to their brand, the event was held in the humble Shedquarters (the home of Vegepod) decked out with plants, fairy lights, hay bale seats & fire pits. Guests were treated to a delectable vegetarian spread, courtesy of the very talented Simon Toohey, & an array of beverages from Organic Wine & Locally Brewed Beer, Trust Tree, (displayed in a Vegepod might we add… #versatile), to the renowned Alcohol-Free Gin, Seadrift. Taking care of all our senses, the tunes were provided by local musician, Ken Lloyd & his band, creating the perfect backing track for the evening.

Known to put on an epic spread, Simon Toohey dished up a 6-hr roasted pumpkin, sweet beetroot salad, grilled leeks, spiced zucchinis & pretty much every veg you can think of. With the help of his fellow Master Chef contestant, Larissa Dominello, the duo put on a feast that had guests coming back for seconds (& thirds). A big thank you to Weber for supplying the BBQs & Harris Farm for the beautiful produce.

To capture these special moments, Han, our in-house photographer, was in full swing. From guests arriving & mingling, to the speeches, space details, food & behind the scenes, not a moment was missed. We believe photography is an integral aspect to all events, not only to share with guests & provide professional content to clients for marketing collateral & internal comms including website/blog, but also for your own personal memory box. From an exposure perspective, it is also important to have high quality imagery to share with Media Social Pages & share with Influencers to share via their own channels. You know what they say, a photo is worth 1000 words.

Our client & face of Vegepod Australia, Simon Holloway, made a moving speech to express his gratitude for everyone who has been involved in the Vegepod journey. From Stockists to Media & Influencers, so many people have played a role in the brand’s success, but the biggest thanks went out to the hard-working Vegepod team, who have worked day in & day out to make it all happen.

To mark the 10th birthday milestone, we indulged in an edible flower cake, layered with lemon curd & jam, prepared by the lovely Veronika (who is also the model in Vegepod’s ads – talk about a lady of many talents!). Given that almost all guests said the cake was ‘too pretty to eat’, ironically, not a crumb was left behind.

All guests went home with the newest addition to the Vegepod family – the Vege-Boost, to help amplify your home-grown produce. Just like us, plants & veggies need support & nutrients in order to flourish, which is exactly what the Vege-boost is here to do. It’s no wonder Vegepod are the leaders in the #GrowYourFood movement.

We’re so grateful to everyone who attended the event & we’re incredibly proud to work with Vegepod. It is an honour to be a part of the journey!
